Samsung's Latest Micro LED TVs for CES 2023

At CES 2023, Samsung announced new sizes for its top-of-the-line Micro LED TVs. These televisions offer the best aspects of OLED and LCD TVs, with the brilliant colors and deep blacks of OLED and the brightness of LCD panels. However, they are also incredibly expensive. Last year, Samsung released Micro LED screens ranging from 89 inches to 110 inches, with prices starting at $80,000. This year, Samsung is offering Micro LED TVs in sizes ranging from 50 inches to 140 inches, though pricing has not yet been released. While these smaller Micro LED TVs may be slightly less expensive than their larger counterparts, they will still be out of reach for many consumers.

Expanded OLED TV Options

In addition to the new Micro LED sizes, Samsung is also expanding its OLED TV offerings by adding a 77-inch model to the lineup. The OLED TVs will also have refresh rates of up to 144Hz, making them a great choice for gamers. Samsung is also rolling out an update to its GameBar 3.0 with MiniMap Sharing and Virtual Aim Point features. MiniMap Sharing allows users to share the minimap on a secondary display, while Virtual Aim Point enhances the on-screen crosshair for first-person shooter games.

Neo QLED TVs

Samsung is also introducing its Neo QLED TVs for CES 2023. These TVs use mini LEDs for their backlights, resulting in more accurate color than standard LED TVs. Samsung is adding Auto HDR Remastering to its Neo QLED TVs, which will take standard dynamic range content and apply real-time high-dynamic range effects to make the colors more vivid.

CES 2023 Competition

Samsung is not the only company showcasing new televisions at CES 2023. LG and other companies will also be debuting their latest flatscreen offerings, making it difficult to predict which company will come out on top in the TV market this year.
